Explain IRS and state tax notices to clients in plain English

The problem

Clients panic when an IRS or state notice (CP2000, CP14, balance-due or missing-return letters) arrives, then call or email the firm with photos of the letter, and each one takes time to read, explain and turn into a clear next step.

How AI solves it

Have clients upload notices through your secure client portal instead of email. Remove the SSN and account numbers, then ask an AI assistant to summarize the notice: what type it is, what the agency says changed, the amount and response deadline, and the client's options. Turn that into a calm, plain-English client email or portal message with what you'll do, what you need from them, and your fee for the response if any. A preparer always checks the notice against the return and the tax code before anything is sent to the client or the agency.

Every new client means rewriting a proposal, chasing a signed engagement letter, and emailing the same welcome checklist, so onboarding drags on for weeks and scope creep starts on day one.
